I am Thanh (Minnie) Hoang, a lifelong learner, an educator, and a practitioner.

My journey started in Hanoi, Vietnam, where my childhood was filled with excitement from navigating bustling streets, helping my parents in their busy restaurant, and and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.

 

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU).

​

My research interests encompass both public and nonprofit management. In nonprofit management, my research focuses on the vital aspects of communication, resource mobilization, and community engagement. Within public management, I am interested in human resources, diversity and inclusion.

During my free time, I find joy in traveling, cooking, and painting.
